FAQ
Questions about MASE Clearinghouse
These answers match the facts page. They describe the current phase: a MASE front end that routes each claim through an established clearinghouse partner.
What is MASE Clearinghouse?
MASE Clearinghouse is a MASE-branded workspace for healthcare claims. Staff use it to submit 837 professional and institutional claims, check eligibility, review 835 remittance advice, track denials, and keep enrollment status and payer mapping in one place. The public site is https://www.maseclearinghub.com.
Is MASE an independent clearinghouse?
No. In this phase, MASE Clearinghouse is a front end. An adapter routes each claim through an established clearinghouse partner. MASE plans to put its own trading partner agreements in place later. Until those agreements exist, MASE does not describe itself as an independent clearinghouse.
How does a claim reach a payer?
Staff prepare and submit the claim in the MASE workspace. The adapter then routes that claim through an established clearinghouse partner. A signed-in admin can see the route used for the claim. This public site does not name the partners.
Where is MASE Clearinghouse in use?
It is in use at Serenity Rehabilitation Center in Michigan and at one practice in Texas. This site does not publish a customer count, claim volume, or revenue figure.
What does MASE check before a claim is submitted?
Before a claim is sent, the workspace checks that the organization profile has an NPI and tax ID, that the payer is mapped, that a patient is linked, and that the claim has diagnosis codes and charge lines. A submission that is missing those items is stopped. The check is a readiness review. This site does not describe it as a model trained on a set of outside claims.
Which transactions can the workspace handle?
The submission path supports professional (837P) and institutional (837I) claims, along with CSV and XML files that the same path accepts. The workspace also runs eligibility checks and stores 835 remittance information for review. The signed-in provider portal has screens for denial follow-up and enrollment status.
Why is there no payer count on this site?
Payer counts stay off this site until MASE has its own trading partner agreements. Claims currently route through established clearinghouse partners. A directory inside the signed-in admin tools is for mapping. It is not published here as a marketing total.
What does MASE add on top of the clearinghouse partner?
The partner carries the electronic transaction. MASE adds the workspace staff sign in to, the adapter that routes each claim, a route the admin can see, readiness checks before submission, and screens for eligibility, ERA review, denials, and enrollment. MASE Clearinghouse is also part of the MASE family, with MASE Health at https://www.mase.health and MASE EMR at https://www.mase-emr.com.
How much does it cost?
Three monthly prices are published on this site: Basic at $60, Small Volume at $120, and Unlimited at $220. The pricing page lists what each plan includes. Confirm the current plan before you start. This site does not publish a setup fee or an uptime guarantee.
How do I request a demo or contact MASE?
Use the demo form at https://www.maseclearinghub.com/demo or the contact form at https://www.maseclearinghub.com/contact. The form stores your name, email, organization, phone, message, and the plan you selected so the team can reply. The admin and provider portals stay behind sign-in. They are not the way a new practice asks for a demo.
Does this site publish uptime, volume, or certification claims?
No. It does not publish claim volume, revenue, an uptime percentage, or a service-level guarantee. It does not claim a SOC 2 report or a CMS Conditions of Participation certification. Portals require a sign-in. The public site is served over HTTPS, and stored integration credentials are encrypted.
Is a business associate agreement posted here?
No. This website does not include a business associate agreement. The privacy and terms pages are drafts for the owner and legal counsel. They are not a finished policy and they are not a business associate agreement.
How is MASE Clearinghouse related to MASE Health and MASE EMR?
They are part of the same MASE family. MASE Health is at https://www.mase.health. MASE EMR is at https://www.mase-emr.com. MASE Clearinghouse is the claims, eligibility, and remittance workspace.
